Michael Gallucci co-founded and built operations for an Internet Retailer Top 500 eCommerce business, acquired by Fanatics Inc, one of the largest privately held companies, valued at $30 billion. His business produced $22M the year it was acquired and grew steadily to produce over $60M annually. He then held an executive role at Fanatics as it grew from $700M to $3B in revenue, on a path its CEO now says can reach $50B through worldwide vertical integration and new business units.
After Fanatics, he moved to the agency side of growth marketing, led a small venture studio, and has worked with clients around the world. One of those clients was featured at Shopify’s all-company summit, the only feature-length documentary among Shopify’s 2.1 million merchants.
Michael credits two factors above all for the value that got the business acquired: the people, and the custom-built systems that let them operate at their best. What has changed since is the X factor: how efficiently intelligence can be captured, and how fast systems can be built. Onverse is that knowledge, put to work for founder-led businesses that need to scale faster and more affordably.
He is an operator first, who builds his own systems, and believes any problem is solvable.
